Kiera's Bio

Kiera Pierre - Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or navigating life changes? I support clients managing sadness, trauma, anxiety, and depression; as well as those working to build healthier relationships, make sense of childhood experiences, and or address impactful past events. My personal practice is rooted in culturally responsive and gender-affirming care, and I strive to honour the diverse identities and experiences you bring into our sessions. I aim to create a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported.

I have five years of experience in the mental health field as a social worker and case manager. I have worked extensively with individuals navigating depression, grief, trauma, and identity-related challenges. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on family systems, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed practices. Having collaborated with Youth Advisory Councils and contributed to initiatives focused on 2SLGBTQ+ and BIPOC youth, I am committed to embedding equity, Truth & Reconciliation, and trauma-informed care into client service delivery.

Taking the first step towards therapy is an act of courage, and I am here to walk alongside you on this path. Together, we will identify practical tools and strategies to help you overcome obstacles and build your desired life.

If you feel ready to explore how we can work together, I invite you to reach out.
